Valley Fire – A financial report revealed that the district has spent 77.5 percent of the budget with 83.3 percent of the year gone. Commissioners approved the purchase of a new pumper truck for the low bid of $462,878. Three property owners near Moab Junction not currently served by a fire district petitioned to be annexed into Valley Fire. Commissioners accepted two of the petitions but rejected the third because of access issues. There was a presentation on the proposed 2006 budget.
