The Spokesman-Review

Citadel Broadcasting and Eastern Washington University announced Wednesday that they have mutually agreed to a four-year contract to broadcast EWU football and basketball games on Citadel-owned radio stations.

Eastern Washington University basketball games will continue to be heard on 1050-AM The Key, while football broadcasts can be heard on 1510-AM KGA.

“We are thrilled to continue building our partnership with the sports community in the area and give our listeners more local radio,” Citadel broadcasting general manager Dave Tester said. “We thank EWU for offering us this relationship and look forward to adding more elements to it in the future.”

Mike Allen, EWU associate athletic director for marketing and sponsorships, commented on the new deal as well, “Citadel Broadcasting has been a great partner of Eastern Athletics this fall and we are excited about expanding this relationship over the next four years. This relationship allows Eagle fans to count on our Citadel partners to bring them the most up to date Eagle news, games, and interviews.”
