Grading of Cougars generous

In the week leading up to the game, your reporters had already put last Saturday’s contest against Stanford in the bowl-bound Cougars’ win column.

Tragically, they lost the game, but you gave their overall effort a grade of C. The defensive line allowed the Cardinal quarterback to run for 97 yards, and you gave them a C grade as well. Alex Brink barely completed half his passes and threw two interceptions, and you still gave his passing a passing grade. Where were you guys when I was trying to get through high school physics?
