Contributions will influence future considerations

I was completely against forming a new city in the Spokane Valley. We now have it and we have to make it work. We have a chance to elect a City Council that will listen to the people.

Mike DeVleming and Steve Taylor have both accepted $500 donations from developer Lanzce Douglass. Mike DeVleming has also accepted $1,000 from developer Brian Walker. I feel it will influence future considerations relating to development in the Ponderosa.

Do we want a City Council that can be influenced by developers?
