Coeur d’Alene police

Aaron Vindasius reported Thursday the $725 theft of a spotting scope, binoculars and miscellaneous items from his 1977 Ford pickup parked on the 700 block of East Timber Lane.

Beverly Dinkel-Arford reported Thursday the $305 theft of compact discs and cash from her 2000 Ford Expedition parked on East Gilbert Avenue.

Nels Potter reported Thursday the $900 theft of a kayak from a boat slip at 11th Street Marina on Lake Coeur d’Alene.

Jim Smidt, employee of Beehive Homes, reported Thursday $300 damage to a utility trailer parked at the business at 2100 E. Sherman Ave.

Kootenai County sheriff

Ralph Livingston of Post Falls reported Thursday $11,781 damage to the carpets, walls, appliances and miscellaneous interior fixtures, and the $475 theft of a kitchen faucet from a rental unit on the 300 block of Livingston Lane.

James Russell, Dalton Gardens, reported Thursday the theft of two laptop computers and an exterior CD-ROM drive from his home on the 7400 block of North Fourth Street.
