Friends of the Centennial Trail – Volunteer help is needed for a cycling event Sept. 18 to celebrate the opening of the Monroe Street bridge scheduled for Sept. 19 and the Trailfest at Mirabeau Meadows Sept. 25. Call 624-7188, or e-mail friends@spokanecentennialtrail.org.

Valleyfest – Help plan and work the event, and a volunteer coordinator is needed to help organize volunteers. Event is Sept. 23-24 at Mirabeau Park in Spokane Valley. Call Peggy at 922-3299.

Center Pointe – Volunteer instructors needed Monday through Friday for arts and crafts, dance and games. Experience not required. Call 325-5451.

Second Harvest Inland Northwest – The REALTORS Food Drive at area Albertsons stores needs volunteers to hand out fliers and collect donations from customers. Call 534-6678, ext. 219 to sign up.

Spokane County Juvenile Court – Positively impact our community’s youth through mentoring or tutoring a juvenile on probation. Call Heather at 477-4761, or e-mail hstiles@spokanecounty.org for an application.
