The Spokesman-Review

A community information meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Indian Trail Library, 4909 W. Barnes Road, on a proposed preliminary plat near Sky Prairie Park.

Developer Rod Plese is seeking the plat along Cascade Way near Quamish Drive for 16 home sites. The meeting is required as part of the city’s application process.

In other city business, the Spokane City Council Monday approved an assessment roll for a local improvement district to pave the alley between Nora and Augusta avenues from Ruby to Lidgerwood streets. The project costs $76,000.

The council also approved an ordinance vacating public ownership of an alley between Francis and Dalke avenues from Florida to Havana streets as requested by Buck Koerper, doing business as Whitey’s Wrecking.
