Shared worship planned at Valley Mission Park

Grab your blankets and lawn chars and head to Valley Mission Park for worship at 10 a.m. Sunday with the congregation of Opportunity Christian Church. The service will be followed by a barbecue potluck and games. Those planning to attend are asked to bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share. The park is at Mission Avenue and Bowdish Road.

Youth fundraiser

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 810 S. Sullivan Road, will host a yard sale and car wash Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the youth program run jointly by Good Shepherd, Holy Trinity Lutheran and Christ Lutheran churches.
