Anti-drug, gang fair planned for landlords

The Spokesman-Review

A drug and gang prevention fair for landlords will be Sept. 14 at the East Central Community Center.

The fair, intended to help landlords keep drugs and gangs out of apartment units, is free to the public. Sponsors include local law enforcement, the federal Housing and Urban Development agency and, in Spokane Valley, members of the Sheriff’s Community Oriented Policing Effort, or SCOPE.

The fair gets under way after noon at 500 S. Stone St., one block west of Altamont Street between east Fifth and Sixth avenues.
