Volunteer opportunities

Habitat for Humanity – The nonprofit home building group needs a volunteer material coordinator to manage site-material needs and make material deliveries and pickups. Some construction/warehouse experience would be helpful. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Call Dennis Reed at 534-2552, ext. 16.

The Salvation Army – Volunteers are needed to care for babies and toddlers, Sundays from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. Volunteers must be 18 or over and pass a criminal background check. Call Christy Markham at 329-2732.
