Fazekas hits milestone in Nevada win

Nick Fazekas scored 19 points to become the first player in Nevada history to top 2,000 career points and the 25th-ranked Wolf Pack beat Saint Mary’s 76-58 Tuesday night in Reno, Nev.

Marcelus Kemp went 4 for 4 from 3-point range and finished with 20 points for Nevada (8-1).

Diamon Simpson had 18 points to lead the Gaels (6-5).

Fazekas, a 6-foot-11 senior who entered leading the NCAA in rebounding with 14.1 per game, became the 12th player in the Western Athletic Conference to score 2,000 career points and just the fifth to top 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.

(13) Texas A&M 84, Fordham 61: At College Station, Texas, Josh Carter scored 24 points, Antanas Kavaliauskas added 19 and the Aggies (8-2) beat the Rams (5-4).

Texas A&M bounced back from losses last week to No. 12 LSU and No. 1 UCLA.

Sebastian Green led Fordham with 19 points and Marcus Stout finished with 14.
