Meat sales will benefit COPS-SE

COPS Southeast is going whole hog on a new fundraiser.

People interested in stocking up the freezer can purchase $68 of frozen meat from Inland Meats, with $10 of each order going back to COPS-SE.

The money will bring you 10 8-ounce sirloin steaks, 10 6-ounce chicken breasts, 10 5-ounce pork loin cops and 20 quarter-pound beef patties. Orders must be placed by Monday, and pickup will be at the COPS station, 2824 E. 29th Ave., next Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Orders may be placed in person or by calling 534-7649 or 535-2655.

Meetings

“The Community Assembly Land Use Committee meeting for all neighborhoods will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today in the third-floor conference room at City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

“The Building Stronger Neighborhoods Committee meeting will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Frontier West Restaurant, 2121 N. Division St.

“The East Central Neighborhood Council will meet at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the East Central Community Center, Fifth Avenue and Stone Steet.

“The Community Assembly Administrative Committee meeting for all neighborhoods will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday in the sixth-floor conference room at City Hall 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

“The Grandview-Thorpe Neighborhood Association will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Canyon Bluff Community Center, Highway 195 at the Thorpe Exit.
