Steelers had extra hands

The Spokesman-Review

I watched the Super Bowl. This had to be the worst officiating of a football game I have ever seen except when the Minnesota Vikings and (Fran) Tarkenton were beat more than 30 years ago.

I want to key your interest by pointing out officials can change the outcome of a game simply by making a couple of bad calls. This is read by that team that it isn’t going to win unless it is very lucky. It harms the players’ morale and makes them prone to making errors.

I suggest to you the Steelers weren’t that good and played the game with “to many men on the field.” The extra men wore black and white-stripped shirts.

I am not a Seahawks fan and will not buy any products advertised Sunday. Paul T., can you hear this?
