Hometown: Born and raised in Clark Fork, living in Post Falls.

Occupation: Spokane Falls Community College student majoring in physical therapy. Previously worked as a botanist in Oregon for 12 years.

Family: Father, William; mother, Ann; brothers William, Rick and Jim; sister, Cathy.

Hobbies: Country dancing, reading, country concerts.

What do you like about North Idaho? After living all over the Northwest, I moved back here. People are so much more relaxed here.

What do you like/dislike about the current season? I could do with a little less rain. I really like the “cold-dry” weather best.

Favorite music: Country

Favorite TV show: “Law and Order,” “CSI,” “Lost.”

Favorite movie: “Walk the Line.”

Favorite spot in North Idaho and why? The islands by Post Falls power plant and Q’emiln Park; anywhere with waterfalls. The back (east) side of Lake Pend Oreille. We boated there when I was younger. I miss that.
