NEW FACES

Kelly Dullanty has been hired as a sales associate and designer at Tracy Jewelers. He has over 20 years of experience and previously worked at Pounder’s Jewelry.

Moloney O’Neill has hired Michelle Heyn as an account assistant in the commercial insurance division of the company. She has five years of insurance industry experience and previously worked at Marsh.

Lawrence Phelps has been hired as a real estate agent at Exit Real Estate-Jones & Associates. He previously worked at Tomlinson Black.

The Manito office of Windermere Real Estate has hired Katie DeBill as a sales associate. She previously worked as a vice principal in the Hoquiam School District and is a graduate of Eastern Washington University.

Debra Cates has been hired as a sales associate in the North Wall Street office of Windermere Real Estate. She previously managed Heritage Hardware and the post office at Ash & Rowan Ace Hardware.

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage has hired Deb Walter as a home mortgage consultant. She has 28 years of experience working with home mortgages and holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Whitworth College.

David Patterson has been hired as a sales associate in the Coeur d’Alene office of Windermere Real Estate. He previously worked as a training store general manager at Jamba Juice in Seattle.

PROMOTED

Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation has promoted Carolyn Turner to director of budgeting and forecasting. She has been with the company since 1996 and holds a master’s in business administration from Regis University-Denver.

Dave Klatt has been promoted to vice president of Sterling Savings Bank. He has been with the bank for one year and holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University.

Advanced Input Systems has promoted Mike Mason to director of manufacturing. He has been with the company for over six years and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Washington State University.

Randy Kron has become an owner/partner at North by Northwest Productions. He previously worked as a producer and has been with the company for eight years.

KUDOS

Dennis Cutter, the president and chief executive officer of Numerica Credit Union, has received the Herb Wegner Award for Lifetime Achievement from the National Credit Union Foundation. Cutter received this award for his volunteer work in the Spokane community.

Inland Northwest Partners has awarded Maury Forman the Hall of Fame Award. Forman is the director of education and training for the Washington State Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development for his commitment to the economic development of the Inland Northwest.

Robert Ketchum, assistant vice president for instruction at North Idaho College and director of NIC’s Workforce Training Center has received the Lumens VIP Award from Augusoft Inc.

Teresa Brum, Spokane’s historic preservation officer and administrator of the Spokane City/County Landmarks Commission, has received the 2005 Outstanding Service Award from the American Institute of Architects, Spokane chapter.

Patricia Weil, a Prudential Insurance agent in Spokane Valley, has received a Prudential CARES Volunteer grant of $250 for volunteering. The money will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alaska, Montana, Northern Idaho and Washington.

Jennifer Wagner of Kemp Auto and Home has received the Rookie of the Year award from the Spokane Insurance Associates. She has been with the company for two years.

Bill McElroy of Coffman Engineers has passed the 2.1 version of the LEED exam through the U.S. Green Building Council.

Kari Moore, a registered nurse at Holy Family Hospital, has received the 2005 Cherokee Inspired Comfort Award from Cherokee Uniforms. Moore received this award by providing exceptional service to patients at the hospital.

APPOINTED/ELECTED

Frankie Arteaga has been appointed to the Spokane Area Workforce Development Council by the City and County of Spokane. Arteaga is the WorkSource area director of the Washington State Employment and Security department.

Tom Stevenson has been elected to the executive committee of Moss Adams. Stevenson is a certified public accountant and a managing partner of the Spokane office of Moss Adams.

Boys and Girls Club of Spokane County has elected new officers for 2006-2007. They are: Denise Copeland-Stanton, president; Chad Burchard, National City Mortgage, vice president of financial developments; Ken Langel of CLC Restaurants, vice president of operations; David Knutson of Witherspoon, Kelley, Davenport and Toole, vice president of support services; Mary Kuney, a certified public accountant, secretary; and Curt Fackler of Washington Trust Bank, treasurer.

The Avista Foundation has awarded its fourth quarter grants for 2005 to the following organizations: The Greater St. Joe Development Foundation/Timber Plus, in St. Maries, Idaho; Second Harvest Food Bank of the Inland Northwest; The Snake River Community Clinic, Lewiston; the Spokane Art School; and VOICES, in Spokane.

Numerica Credit Union has raised $8,500 at its annual employee auction. The funds will be donated to the Hutton Settlement.
