Otis Orchards Community Church, 23304 E. Wellesley Ave., will host the session, which is also sponsored by Starr Road Baptist Church and Word of Life. Children in grades K-6 will gather from 9 a.m. to noon daily. There is no charge.

The session will close with a carnival from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 3 at Otis Orchards Elementary, 22000 E. Wellesley Ave. Call 926-9552 or 226-0544 to register.

Guest speaker

The Valley Open Bible Church will host guest speaker Dvora Moar during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday at the church, 905 N. McDonald Road. Moar is a Jew of Polish descent who now leads history tours in Jerusalem. She was imprisoned in a concentration camp during World War II.

The church will host a barbecue after the service at the nearby Valley YMCA. Those planning to attend are asked to bring chips or other items to share. The church will provide hot dogs and hamburgers.
