Valley sign committee seeks new members

Spokane Valley is looking for volunteers to fill two new positions on the city’s Ad Hoc Sign Committee. The group was formed to review the sign ordinance inherited from the county.

The city is looking for a representative from the automotive industry and a representative from the retail or restaurant industries. Volunteers must live in or operate a business in the city.

Applications are available on the city’s Web site, www.spokanevalley.org, or at City Hall.

They must be faxed to (509) 921-1008, e-mailed to cbainbridge@spokanevalley.org or mailed to Mayor Diana Wilhite c/o Chris Bainbridge, 11707 E. Sprague Ave, 99206 by 5 p.m. Aug. 10.
