Dinner, show to benefit crisis nursery

On Tuesday, Hannah’s Garden Benefit Series begins with “Some Enchanted … Evening with Windsong.”

Dinner and the show start at 7:15 p.m. after cocktails at 6, at Hannah’s Garden Inn, in the garden at Delaney’s Musicafe, 820 W. Seventh Ave.

The show features a number of talented performers, and dinner features traditional recipes from Tuscany.

Tickets are $45 each or you can purchase the entire series (five performances) for $195.

All proceeds benefit the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.

Beatles, Bach Benefit Katrina

On Friday from 7 to 9 p.m., the second annual “Beatles to Bach” concert will be held in Coeur d’Alene.

The Songbird Cafe, 315 N. Fourth St., will be the setting for great food and great music.

A $25 ticket buys live music provided by the Northwest Academy of Music, with 10 professional regional artists.

All proceeds will be donated to the Salvation Army Katrina Relief Fund.

Race for Babies

The 2006 Spokane Indians 8K Pennant Race and 5K Family Walk will take place on July 15 at 8 a.m.

The race, presented by Runners Soul, will take place on the Centennial Trail in downtown Spokane, starting and finishing just by the Carrousel in Riverfront Park.

Registration is $25, which includes a Brooks Technical short-sleeve shirt, a donation to the March of Dimes, and a ticket to the Spokane Indians baseball game that night against the Everett Aquasox.

For those who don’t wish to run, a 5K family walk through Riverfront Park with Otto, the Indians’ mascot, also will take place.

The evening will end with an on-field awards ceremony at Avista Stadium and a post-game fireworks show.
