Coverage of tonight’s Academy Awards ceremony begins at 5 p.m. on ABC (KXLY-4 in Spokane), preceded by an “Oscar Countdown” arrivals show at 4 p.m. and followed by “Evening at the Academy Awards: The Winners.” E! Entertainment Television airs its “Countdown to the Red Carpet” beginning at 9 a.m., followed at 2:30 p.m by “Live From the Red Carpet” with Ryan Seacrest, Isaac Mizrahi and Guiliana Depandi (cable channel 64 in Spokane, 53 in Coeur d’Alene). And the TV Guide Channel will run Oscar-related programming throughout the day, including “Joan & Melissa’s Guide to the Academy Awards” with Joan and Melissa Rivers at 11:30 a.m.; “Countdown to the Academy Awards” at 12:30 p.m.; “Joan & Melissa Live at the Academy Awards” at 2:30 p.m.; and an “Academy Award Nomination Special” at 4:30 p.m. (cable channel 99 in Spokane, 20 in Coeur d’Alene).
