Advanced Input Systems has hired Eric Johnson as a mechanical engineer. He previously worked at Stryker Endoscopy in California and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Idaho.

Hilary Whittington has been hired as a staff accountant at Thomas D. Dingus & Associates. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gonzaga University.

Winston & Cashatt has hired Eowen Rosentrater as an attorney in the practice of commercial litigation, contract law, insurance litigation and commercial collection. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University and is a graduate of Gonzaga School of Law.

Tracy Wiyrick has been hired as a commercial loan officer at Inland Northwest Bank.

Empire Aerospace has hired Robert McMahon as quality manager. He previously worked at Evergreen International Airlines and has over 35 years of aviation industry experience.

Glenda Travis has been hired as a sales agent at Beasley Realty in Pullman. She has over 20 years of marketing, public relations and fundraising experience and previously worked at Gritman Medical Center.

Magnuson, McHugh & Company has hired Ben Johnston as a staff accountant. He holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Idaho.

Bud Nevers has been hired as a financial advisor at the Spokane branch of Smith Barney. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics/management from the U.S. Air Force Academy and has 30 years of experience in the military and commercial aviation.

Lee & Hayes has hired David Divine as a patent attorney. He previously worked at Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto in Washington D.C.

Matt Gillis has been hired as an engineering project manager at Welch Comer & Associates. He is a graduate of the University of Idaho and previously worked for the Idaho Department of Transportation.

Valley Emergency Physicians has hired Dr. Raymond Pollock in the practice of family medicine. He is a graduate of Grace University and completed his internship and residency at St. Luke’s Hospital. Pollock has been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.

Dr. Laura Hotchkiss has been hired as a diagnostic radiologist at Spokane Radiology Consultants. She is a graduate of Brown University and completed an internship and residency at Maine Medical Center. Hotchkiss has been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.

Native Health of Spokane has hired Dr. Kendra Long in the practice of family medicine. She is a graduate of the University of Washington, completed her internship at Sacred Heart Medical Center, and her residency at Deaconess Medical Center. Long has been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.

PROMOTED

David Swalling has been promoted to vice president of Sterling Savings Bank. He was hired in June 2002 as a credit examiner and later worked in the credit administration department. He has over 20 years of commercial lending experience.

Preston Gates & Ellis has promoted Theresa Keyes to partner in the firm’s Spokane office. She is a member of the intellectual property and commercial litigation practices and is a graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law.

William Heaney has been promoted to vice president of brand development at Red Lion Hotels. He has been with the company since 2004 and previously worked as vice president of sales.

Stephanie Rose has received the Rookie of the Year award from Carson Mortgage Capital. She works as a loan officer for the company.

Michael Wade of Anastasia’s Portrait Design has earned the master craftsman designation in photography from Imaging USA, the Professional Photographers of America. He is the president of the portrait studio, located in Spokane Valley.

Global Credit Union has awarded Chris Harshberger the Dominic Allessio Employee of the Quarter Award. He has worked in the marketing department of the credit union for 19 months and holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

Roy Cliff Logging of Priest River, Idaho, has been recognized for its top log quality ratings by Stimson Lumber Company.

Kent Lupton has received the National Sales Achievement Award from Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.

Spokane Teachers Credit Union has given awards to the following employees and departments for outstanding accomplishments: Ronda Moore, Employee of the Year, senior project specialist, card services; Kathleen Kozlowski, the Mike Armstrong Outstanding Community Volunteer of the Year, director of business development and community relations; the Card Services Department, Support Department of the Year; the Phone Center Department, Frontline Department of the Year.
