The food writer and author of three slow-cooker cookbooks has used her expertise to create 100 healthy recipes. “The Healthy Slow Cooker” features everything from breads and breakfast through dessert. Vegetarian and vegan-friendly recipes are also included. There are tips for making your dishes turn out perfectly and sidestepping extra fat and calories. The nutrition is displayed with each recipe and a list of diabetic food values appears in the book.
