Donald Trump‘s wife, Melania Knauss Trump, gave birth to a boy on Monday, the billionaire developer announced.

“Everyone’s perfect,” Trump said in a telephone interview on MSNBC’s “Imus in the Morning” about 20 minutes after the arrival of his fifth child.

The boy has been named Barron William Trump. He is Trump’s fifth child and his wife’s first.

In a statement on her Web site, the new mom said the youngest Trump weighed in at 8 1/2 pounds and was 21 inches long.

Knauss Trump, 35, was in labor for eight hours, her husband said.

“I continue to stay young, right? I produce children, I stay young,” said the 59-year-old Trump.

Knauss Trump is a Slovenian-born model who has appeared in print ads and on the covers of Vogue and British GQ magazines. She and Trump married in January 2005.

Wedding plans altered?

The hopes of thousands of paparazzi were shattered over the weekend when the supposed super-secret wedding between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie failed to materialize in Italy.

Rumors had swirled about the couple tying the knot at the Lake Como villa owned by fellow actor George Clooney, but no nuptials had occurred as of press time.

Spectators had to settle for two men who dressed up as the famous couple, calling each other “Brad” and “Angelina” and kissing passionately, and a Clooney lookalike who showed a photo of himself posing with the star.

Old dog, new tux

There will be a wedding in the third season of the A&E reality show “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” which premieres tonight at 9 (cable channel 52 in Spokane, 37 in Coeur d’Alene).

“I’m marrying my common-law wife, Beth, the Christian way, with a preacher and all that,” series star Duane “Dog” Chapman said of his longtime sidekick and business partner, Beth Smith. They have been together for 16 years and have two children.

The guest list for the May 20 wedding includes Hulk Hogan, Danny Bonaduce and Wynonna Judd.

Watch your tongue, mother

Speaking of reality TV stars, Nicole Richie irritated a local family during taping of the new season of “The Simple Life” by asking an 11-year-old boy, in graphic language, if she looked attractive.

The boy was playing basketball in the driveway of his home when Richie, pushing a baby carriage, approached and questioned the youth about how she looked, using a profane word.

Instead of signing a release allowing the footage to be aired on the show, the boy’s father complained to the show’s production company.

“Simple Life 4: Till Death Do Us Part,” scheduled to air this spring on E!, features party girls Richie and Paris Hilton taking turns as wife and mother in their own house.
