It’s hard out here for a … Hilton?

Welcome to: Paris Hilton, hip-hop star.

The blond celebrity, whose appeal rests not with any particular talent but more with her bank account and utter sense of shamelessness, is entering the next stage of her “career.”

She’s going to produce and record with Oscar-winning rappers Three 6 Mafia.

“We ran into her at a William Morris Agency party, and she said she liked our song ‘Stay Fly’ and asked could we work with her,” said Jordan “Juicy J” Houston, a member of the Memphis hip-hop group.

Houston and his fellow performers set up in a Los Angeles recording studio Tuesday with the hotel heiress and reality TV star.

“We let her listen to a dance track, and she really liked it and plans to record it tonight,” Houston said Tuesday.

Three 6 Mafia won the Oscar for best original song for “It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp” from the film “Hustle & Flow.”

Lopez ha tenido buen éxito

According to his wife Ann Lopez, George Lopez, star of the ABC sitcom “George Lopez,” “is that little blade of grass that got through the cracks and got out.”

On Wednesday, the 44-year-old sitcom star, accompanied by his wife and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, had a star with his name on it installed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“I remember being 15, and walking up and down (the Walk of Fame) and dreaming about what I wanted to do and never thinking it was going to be done,” the sitcom star said.

Paula, Simon, sittin’ in a tree

In the end, Paula Abdul decided she could put up with Simon Cowell after all.

The two “American Idol” co-hosts (with Randy Jackson) have engaged in a long-running feud, which heightened – interestingly enough – during Abdul’s recent contract negotiations.

Abdul has announced that she is signing on to do the Fox show for another three years.

“I look forward to putting Simon in his place for years to come,” she said.

His drawers are worth … ?

Oscar-winner George Clooney carries some clout with the United Way. The Oscar swag bag that the Best Supporting Actor (for “Syriana”) carried at the ceremonies earlier this month earned a cool $45,100 in an online auction.

Clooney had donated the bag to the charity, which will give the money raised to its hurricane response and relief recovery fund.

It was all in the stage design

The saying “Break a Leg” has long been a theatrical tradition. Somebody should tell Delta Burke that it’s not meant to be taken literally.

The former “Designing Women” star fell during a run-through Wednesday of the Los Angeles production of the play “Southern Baptist Sissies.”

“I wish I could blame it on the choreography, but it’s not a musical,” said Burke.
