Reactions were mixed about the 30th anniversary T-shirt, a burnt orange reminiscent of the University of Texas Longhorn colors. Although the hue didn’t please everyone, most people seemed to like the artwork designed by Randy Beers, who also created the souvenir poster.

Here are some reactions:

“I like the color,” said Clint Whitsett of Spokane Valley. “We lean toward bright.”

“They missed an opportunity for a lilac shirt full of blooming flowers on their 30th birthday,” said Carol Stobie of Spokane.

“I don’t like it too much, too much color,” said Mike Pope of Spokane.

“It’s kinda gross,” said Janine McCue of Calgary, Alberta.

“The color is kind of different but the design is nice,” said Bill Wang of Portland.

“I love the color,” said Richard Brown of Spokane, who said it’s the same as the KTM motorcycles he rides. “So far it’s my favorite.”
