•Friday-Sunday: Monroe Street Antique District’s annual Mother’s Day Sale. Nine antique stores from Monroe Street Bridge north to Dalton Avenue will participate by offering discounts and special treats. Maps are available at each store.

•Saturday: Covenant United Methodist Spring Flea Market at the church, 15515 N. Gleneden St. Vendors will fill the parking lot with booths of antiques, good junk, household items and collectibles. Take Highway 395 north to the Wandermere exit. Follow Wandermere Road north to North Gleneden, then follow signs. (Note: Sale will be canceled if it rains.)

•Sunday and May 28: Estate auction at Owens Auction Gallery, 14208 E. Sprague Ave., Spokane Valley. For more information, call 990-6488 or go to www.owensauction.com.

•May 19-21: The 66th Pacific International Philatelic Exposition. Stamp show will be at the Spokane Convention Center, 334 W. Spokane Falls Blvd. Admission is free. •May 20: Spring Cleaning at the Trellis. Owner Darcy Terhaar will open the clearance room. Plants and hanging baskets will be on sale, and goodies for snacking will be available. The in-store decorator will give presentations on decorating with fabrics throughout the day. Hours will be 10 a.m-5p.m. The Trellis is at 4102 S. Bowdish Road. Call 928-6158 for more information.

•May 20-21: The Farm Chicks Antique Show in Fairfield, Wash., is growing. A third location has been added to the mix. Treasure Hunters can shop for goodies in the Community Center or in the two large tents nearby. Country Living Magazine editors will make an appearance on May 20.
