This nice girl has been at the shelter since January. She was picked up in Deer Park by some people who couldn’t keep her, so they brought her to the Humane Society.

It is apparent when she gets into the play yard that even though she has called a kennel “home” for so long, she still remembers her housetraining. Shelby was temperament-tested in April and was found to be OK with other dogs.

Shelby is very playful and loves to run. She would do well in an active home with older children but would do just fine hanging around the house with her friends, too.

Shelby’s adoption comes with a free Lupine leash and collar. Come and meet her at the Humane Society of Spokane, 6607 N Havana St. The telephone number is 467-5235. Adoption fees are $84 and $80, depending on where you live, and include spay, vaccinations and license. The Humane Society is open every day.
