Vikings turn back Mankato State in finale
Quarterback Adam Perry threw two touchdown passes and ran for the go-ahead TD early in the fourth quarter to lead the Western Washington Vikings (5-6, 3-5) to a season-ending 35-21 victory over the Minnesota State-Mankato Mavericks (4-7, 2-6) in North Central Conference football action Saturday afternoon in Mankato, Minn.
Nebraska-Omaha 48, Central Washington 14: The Mavericks (8-2, 7-1) rushed for 412 yards and five touchdowns – three by running back Zach Miller – en route to a lopsided win over the Wildcats (6-5, 3-5) in NCC play in Omaha.
