NIC choirs singing for food bank

The North Idaho College choirs will present a preview of their fall seasons during a kickoff benefit concert for the Community Action Partnership food bank in Coeur d’Alene.

The “Fall Choral Preview” will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 15, at the First Presbyterian Church, 521 Lakeside Ave. in Coeur d’Alene.

The highlight of the concert will be the performance of Antonio Vivaldi’s “Gloria.” The NIC Madrigal Singers and the Jazz Co. jazz choir will also perform. The choirs are led by NIC Choir Director Max Mendez and accompanied by Ann Paul.

There is no cost for admission, but canned food donations to the food bank will be accepted. For more information, call 769-3276.
