Big Sky honors two Eagles

Eastern Washington won its second football game and for the second time linebacker David Eneberg and kicker Brett Bergstrom were honored as Big Sky Conference players of the week.

Eneberg had six tackles, intercepted a pass, forced a fumble and broke up two passes as the Eagles blanked Northern Colorado 34-0, their first shutout in 20 seasons, and was selected Defensive Player of the Week.

Bergstrom, who won the special teams award, drilled field goals of 56 and 47 yards. The 56-yarder was a career best and one yard short of the school record.
