Car Seat Safety Workshop – For parents, grandparents and caregivers, this class will discuss proper installation techniques and requirements for car seats, 6-8 p.m. at the Spokane Regional Health District, 1101 W. Developmental Screenings – Today is the last day to make an appointment for a free screening for infants and toddlers under age 3, living in Spokane County. Tests can determine ability to move, learn, communicate, relate to others, see, hear and eat, and there are several sites available. Smart Health for Seniors Workshop – The East Central Senior Center, 500 S. Stone St., presents this event that will include discussions about preventing falls, pandemics and more, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be flu shots available, as well as blood glucose checks. Lilac City Volksport – Meet for a 5k or 11k walk Saturday at the Liberty Lake Sewer and Water District Building, 22520 E. Mission Ave., Liberty Lake. Start times are between 9 a.m. and noon and walkers must finish by 3 p.m. The cost is $3 for credit, but nonpaying walkers are welcome. Bring strollers at your own discretion. No wheelchairs. Adult Children from Dysfunctional Families and Co-Dependents – How to grow out of these dysfunctional patterns in a 26-week program of group therapy and support with tools for the results you want.
