This is the ninth day of the 2006 Spokane County Interstate Fair’s 10-day run. A full schedule of events is available at www.spokanecounty.org/fair, and at the fairgrounds.

9:30 a.m. – Pocket pet and ferret judging.

10 a.m. – Llama judging; open class beef judging; 4-H horse equitation judging; youth cat show; pumpkin carving; skateboard competition.

11 a.m. – Firefighters competition; racing pigs.

Noon – Carnival midway opens; International Lumberjack Show.

12:15 p.m. – Vocalist Merridee Joy.

1 p.m. – Open class beef judging; open class sheep judging; dog dock jumping beginner’s practice; Spokane Fiddlers.

2 p.m. – Racing pigs.

2:30 p.m. – Vocalist Danny Smith.

3 p.m. – Open class beef judging; International Lumberjacks Show.

3:15 p.m. – Redwing Fiddlers.

3:30 p.m. – Vocalist Megan Munroe.

4 p.m. – Keyboardist Gordan Dick; dog dock jumping advanced contest.

4:45 p.m. – Haran Irish Dancers.

5 p.m. – Racing pigs.

5:30 p.m. – Rainbow Fiddle Kids; vocalist Megan Munroe.

6 p.m. – Vocalist Jared Wagner; animal costume class.

6:45 p.m. – Demolition derby.

7 p.m. – Spokane Idol competition; film festival.

8 p.m. – Racing pigs; dog dock jumping beginners contest.

Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; exhibit halls open at 10 a.m.

Cost: Adults, $8; seniors and youth (7-13), $5; under 7, free.

Where: Spokane County Fair and Expo Center, 404 N. Havana St.
