Spokane County
Today – “Our Kids: Our Business” luncheon, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Davenport Hotel, Grand Pennington Ballroom. Bob Watt, keynote speaker on “The Return on Investment When Kids Thrive.” Register at greaterspokaneincorporated.com.
April 14 – Crisis Residential Center community open house, 1-4 p.m., 201 W. Sixth Ave. CRC is a short-term residential program for troubled adolescents, (509) 532-2000 or (509) 624-2868.
April 15-19 – Pinwheel display in River Park Square; candlelight vigil.
April 16 – Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteers will hand out pinwheels in the atrium at River Park Square, noon-1 p.m., and ask the public to take action to prevent child abuse and neglect.

April 20 – Spokane Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (SPO-CAN) Council Awards Breakfast, 8 a.m.-noon.
