The attack
A suicide bomber detonated a vest packed with explosives inside Iraq’s parliament building in Baghdad’s heavily guarded Green Zone on Thursday. At least eight people were killed and 23 wounded.
A senior Iraqi official said the attack may have been carried out by the bodyguard of a Sunni member of parliament.
