An editorial published April 2 (“Kids deserve better”) said the state of Washington doesn’t notify school districts about teaching certificate revocations for up to four and a half months. The editorial neglected to mention that complaints of sexual misconduct are posted immediately and available to school districts on a password-accessible on-line data base.
