Saturday – Free handouts with parenting tips will be distributed from 10 a.m. to noon in front of Yoke’s Foods, 210 E. North Foothills Drive, in what is being billed as the single-largest child abuse prevention project in the nation. The “Believe in the Blue” effort is being organized locally by the Exchange Club of Downtown Spokane. About 200 Exchange Clubs nationwide will be distributing information during the same two-hour period.
