Friends of the Moran Prairie Library – Volunteers are needed to prepare for the library’s June book sale and fundraiser. A variety of skills and talents are needed to cover all of the tasks. Spokane Valley Community Center and Food Bank – Volunteers are needed to greet and check-in patrons at the clothing bank on Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Some computer skills are helpful but not required. Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest – Volunteers are needed for the Mentoring Children of Promise program which helps to empower children and youth of incarcerated parents in Eastern Washington. Volunteers/mentors must commit to supporting, guiding and being a friend to a young person for a period of at least one year.
