Girl Scout Program Center – Girls ages 5-17 are invited to use the arts and crafts room, computer lab and life skills center featuring a large kitchen, 1404 N. Ash St. A gymnasium, fitness room and rock climbing wall will also be available soon. Open weekdays from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The cost is $5 per girl for 30 days unlimited use of the center after an initial $10 registration fee. After-school Club – A fun and safe place for middle and high school students with developmental disabilities. Open 2:30-6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at The Arc of Spokane Community Center, 116 W. Indiana. For more information, call 789-2247, ext. 123.

Before- and After-school Programs – Educational and fun programs are available at the Northeast Youth Center, 4001 N. Cook. Transportation to and from some local elementary schools is available, and state pay is accepted. Includes a USDA-approved snack. Boys and Girls Club of Spokane County – After-school programs for ages 6-18, 544 E. Providence. Call 489-0741.

Camp Fire USA – Clubs forming for children ages 3 through 12th grade. Call the Camp Fire USA Service Center for more information, 747-6191.

Jump Rope Academy – Instruction includes single rope and double Dutch, 2727 N. Madelia St., Suite 5; ages 2-adult. Monday-Saturday. Free introduction class. Birthday and group workshops; $8 per person. Combination parent and child classes; motor skill and brain-development exercises. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday classes available. Call 869-3018.

Libby Teen Center – Open for basketball, volleyball and table games Tuesday through Saturday from 4:30-9 p.m. Free. Also scheduling outdoor activities, field trips and aerobics classes at the center, 2900 E. First Ave. For more information or to volunteer, call 536-8152.

Multicultural Folk Dancing: Silver Spurs Youth Folk Dancers – Children in grades three through 12 can learn clogging, German, Ukrainian, Romanian and Irish folk dancing, swing and more at Silver Spurs International Folk Dance Youth Group, 1426 E. 19th Ave. Some scholarships are available. X-Brain Yo-Yo – Learn amazing tricks at yo-yo classes at Colors on the Wind, 118 E. Wellesley Ave. Classes are Saturdays, 10 a.m.-noon. Registration and classes are free. For more information, call Becky at 484-5483.
