Cold-treat sales will aid Miracle Network

On Thursday, Dairy Queen will host Miracle Treat Day and donate proceeds from every Blizzard ice cream treat sold to Children’s Miracle Network.

Children’s Miracle Network is a nonprofit organization that raises funds for children’s hospitals. Proceeds will stay in the local community.

Golf Fore MS

The Inland Northwest Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will be holding a Golf Fore MS scramble tournament on Friday.

The event will be at MeadowWood Golf Course in Liberty Lake and will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Cost is $75 per golfer and includes green fees, a cart and barbeque. Proceeds will benefit the Inland Northwest Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. To register or for more information, call (509) 482-2022.

NIC Scholarship Benefit

The Coeur d’Alene Three-on-Three Shootout tournament will be at North Idaho College on Aug. 18-19. Entries must be postmarked by Friday.

Applicants ages 8 and older are encouraged to apply, and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The entry fee is $90 per team and includes a T-shirt.
