NEW FACES

Johanna Bruning has been hired by the Rockwood Cancer Treatment Center as a certified pediatric oncology nurse. She holds a master’s degree in nursing from Gonzaga University and previously worked for Cancer Care Northwest.

Countrywide Home Loans has hired Jody Alexander as a home loan consultant at its Liberty Lake branch. She previously worked as an independent finance and accounting specialist in the construction industry.

Andrew Davis has been hired by Belsby Engineering as a civil designer. He previously worked as a field survey chief at Columbia Northwest Engineering.

Dr. Donald Thornton has been hired by the Physician Anesthesia Group at Sacred Heart Medical Center in the practice of anesthesiology. He graduated from St. George’s University and completed his residency and internship at the University of Kansas.

Amanda Pressley has been hired by Numerica Credit Union as a relationship manager. She is a graduate of the University of Montana and previously worked for Wells Fargo.

Bobbie Collins has been hired as a business administrator at OMS Inc.

Maree McHugh has been hired by Moscow Medical as a family nurse practitioner. She previously worked as an emergency and critical care nurse at Gritman Medical Center and worked the last five years as a family nurse practitioner on the Navajo Nation in Arizona.

Eleanor Sprinkle has been hired by the Better Business Bureau of Eastern Washington, North Idaho and Montana as vice-president. She previously worked for Bank of America.

Julia Hansen has been hired by Countrywide Home Loans as a loan officer. She previously worked for Washington Trust Bank.

PROMOTIONS

Jinny Piskel has been promoted to director of the graduate school of business at Gonzaga University. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Gonzaga.

Kylene Lloyd has been promoted to operations and finance manager at the University of Phoenix’s Spokane campus. She was previously the academic adviser. She holds a degree in education from the University of Idaho.

KUDOS

David Brukardt recently graduated with honors from the National School of Banking in Fairfield, Conn. He is executive vice president at Sterling Savings Bank.

Dr. Craig Whiting of Rockwood Clinic has been appointed to the clinical faculty at the University of Washington as a clinical assistant professor of urology. He has been with the Rockwood Clinic since 2001 and will continue in his position there.

The Coeur d’Alene Resort was recently named the top golf resort in the region by the Conde Nast Traveler magazine. It was named number 18 in the United States on the same list. The resort’s restaurant, Beverly’s, was given the Wine Spectator Restaurant Award for its cuisine and wine selections.

The Women Helping Women Fund has named six new board members. They are: Yvonne Lopez Morton, project assistant with Spokane Public Schools; Lorna Walsh, chief development officer for the Northwest Museum of Arts of Culture; Debbie Zimmerman, senior vice president and portfolio manager for Bank of America; Susan Kuzma, vice president and relationship manager for Washington Trust Bank; Lori Maloney, community volunteer; and Peg Thomas, executive vice president for Ambassadors Group.

Realtor Kelly Hanson of GMAC Real Estate Northwest has been appointed to the Kootenai County Noxious Weed Control Advisory Board.
