KUDOS Peter Erbland, a partner in Paine Hamblen’s Coeur d’Alene office, has been featured in the 2007 edition of Mountain States Super Lawyers. The publication recognizes the top 5 percent of lawyers in Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming and Nevada, based on voting and evaluation by a panel of peers. Erbland was selected for his civil litigation defense. He is a graduate of the Gonzaga University School of Law.

APPOINTED George Orr of Spokane has been appointed to the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission by Gov. Chris Gregoire. Orr retired from the Spokane Valley Fire Department with 34 years of service and served as a state representative from 1990 to 1994.
