Community update : Blues Cruise will aid KPBX

Board the Mish-An-Nock at the Boardwalk Marina on Lake Coeur d’Alene on Wednesday for the KPBX Blues Cruise.

The ship sets sail at 7 p.m. to the music of Too Slim and the Taildraggers.

Tickets are $25. Proceeds benefit KPBX-FM public radio.

Master Gardeners sale

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Bonner County Master Gardeners will host a yard sale at Lake Pend Oreille Alternative High School, 1005 N. Boyer Ave. in Sandpoint.

Proceeds will benefit community education.

Pedalin’ for health

On Saturday, “Pedalin’ for Public Health” will take place on the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes, with starting points at Plummer, Harrison and Heyburn State Park.

The benefit bike ride begins at 8 a.m. The cost is $25 and includes a raffle.

Proceeds will benefit public health programs through the Panhandle Public Health Foundation.

Benefit concert

Enjoy a summer concert to the music of Tuxedo Junction Big Band on Saturday at Park Place Retirement Community, 511 S. Park Road.

The concert begins at 6 p.m. Donations of $3 are requested.

Proceeds will benefit Care Cars, which offers transportation to medical appointments for frail elders.
