Delbert and Jeanne Bemis celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception at Holman Gardens Retirement Community in Spokane Valley on Aug. 5.

Hosts for the event included their children and spouses: Barbara and Mac Mandley, Kingman, Ariz.; Kristine and Walter Dale, Spokane and Duane Bemis, Big Spring, Texas.

The couple were married March 1, 1947, in Chicago. They have 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
