Wedding vows were exchanged by Carrie Hazell and Jason Schlafmann in an outdoor ceremony May 19 at the home of the bride’s parents, Tom and Pam Hazell, Atascadero, Calif.

The groom is the son of Jarvis and Marilyn Schlafmann, Spokane.

A reception at the wedding site followed the ceremony. The couple are living in New York City after a honeymoon trip around the world, including stops in Hong Kong, India and France.

The bride is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif. The groom is a graduate of Whitworth University and Gonzaga University.
