Floating a few Led trial balloons

So does Monday’s Led Zeppelin reunion concert mean there might be a new tour by the’70s supergroup?

There are mixed signals coming from the Zeppelin camp, but no one appears to be closing the door to at least some further performances.

Lead singer Robert Plant may be the toughest sell.

“The whole idea of being on a cavalcade of merciless repetition is not what it’s all about,” he says, but adds: “It wouldn’t be such a bad idea to play together from time to time.”

Guitarist Jimmy Page sounds more optimistic.

“I must say that after our initial get-together (to rehearse) it was so exhilarating and fun that I did feel I would like to do more,” he says.

“I’ve got things I’ve been working on for the past four years that I’m proud of. Some of the songs I’ve got ready are as good as anything I’ve done in the past.”

Says bassist John Paul Jones: “I guess the door has been left slightly ajar (by Monday’s show). We’ll have to see how we feel about it afterwards.”

Just wait until she plays Helena

Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was among the faithful who showed up for a concert by red-hot tween star Miley Cyrus – aka “Hanna Montana” of Disney Channel fame – on Saturday in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont.

“We’re big fans,” said Blagojevich, who was accompanied by his wife and two daughters. “I’ve seen every ‘Hannah Montana’ episode.”

Scott Baio is showing

Scott Baio is no longer 45 – or single.

The former star of TV’s “Charles in Charge,” and the subject of the recent VH1 reality show “Scott Baio is 45 … and Single,” over the weekend married long-time girlfriend Renee Sloan, who is with child.

Baio, who turned 46 in September, will return for a second season – which VH1 is calling “Scott Baio is 46 … and Pregnant.”

So who was best boy?

Also walking down the aisle over the weekend was Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough, who married his longtime girlfriend in his hometown of Orlando, Fla.

Dorough says he was “more nervous about proposing to her in front of 40 family and friends than about performing in front of 40,000 people onstage.”

Fine-feathered friend

Elton John has received a specially made bird-feather cloak for his many visits to Maori communities in New Zealand.

The cloak – “the Maori equivalent to an Academy Award” – was “gifted as recognition of the enjoyment Sir Elton John’s music has given to Maori over the years,” a tribal spokesman said.
