Flurry of ski vacation offers

If you’re headed to the ski slopes, you can save money with a variety of offers.

Travelers flying to Salt Lake City can get a free same-day lift ticket at their choice of three Park City resorts. The offer is valid at Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort or the Canyons from Jan. 2 through Feb. 14, and March 24 through closing.

Look for kids-fly-free offers when you book air and hotel packages. Generally, one child younger than 12 flies free per paying adult.

United has a kids-fly-free offer to Crested Butte, Jackson Hole, Steamboat and Vail-Beaver Creek for travel through Feb. 14. If you book one of these packages for Vail and Beaver Creek through Ski.com, the kids can ski for free, and if you stay at least five days, kids get free rental equipment.

Colorado’s Steamboat has a kids-fly-free offer for travel on American, Northwest or United, and also has kids-ski-and-rent-free deals.

Travel is valid Jan. 4 through Feb. 14 on United, Jan. 6 through Feb. 15 on American and Jan. 6 through Feb. 16 on Northwest.

Alaska Airlines Vacations is offering 15 percent off British Columbia ski packages with stays at Sun Peaks or Whistler. Vacations must be booked online by Jan. 28, for travel through March 30.
