Jared Broggi scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Thomas McMahon added 13 points and 10 boards as Clark Fork defeated visiting Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy 60-55 Tuesday and took over sole possession of first place in the North Star League boys standings.

Mike Martin added 11 points for the Wampus Cats (10-6, 6-1), who outscored the Panthers 39-21 in the second half to erase a 13-point halftime deficit.

David Baker tallied a game-high 24 points and Josiah Menzies added 15 to lead Coeur d’Alene Charter (14-3, 6-2).

Ty Ketchum scored a game-high 16 points and Jeremiah Big Spring added 12 as Kellogg (12-6, 5-1) whipped visiting St. Maries (3-16, 0-7) 62-37 in an Intermountain League game. Joshua McDonald added 10 points and nine rebounds for the Wildcats, who outscored the Lumberjacks 19-8 in the second quarter to take a 30-16 lead into halftime. Marc Grubham tallied a team-high 15 points and Josh Masterson added 14 for St. Maries. … Timberlake’s game at Priest River was rescheduled because of the girls district tournament. The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Priest River.

Travis Zimmerman scored a game-high 21 points and Nate Phillips added 17 as Selkirk edged Liberty 66-63 in overtime in the first round of the District 7 2B boys Tournament at Spokane Community College. Zimmerman made a free throw with 2.7 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime. Trevor Turpin nailed a 3-pointer late in overtime to give the Rangers (16-5) the lead for good. Andrew Canning tallied a game-high 22 points for the Lancers (16-5). … In other tournament action, Republic (21-1) topped Reardan (12-9) 25-17 at SCC. The Indians attempted a stall strategy on offense, at one point holding the ball at half court for more than 5 minutes. Todd Orestad scored eight points and Derek Gianukakis added seven points and 12 rebounds for the Tigers. Chance Ackerman tallied a team-high nine points for Reardan, which will play Liberty at 5 p.m. Thursday at SCC. Republic advances to play Selkirk at 5 p.m. Thursday at Spokane Falls Community College. … Henry Butler and Jordan Dickson scored 14 points each and Jeffery Livingston added 12 points and 13 rebounds as St. George’s (16-5) topped Lind-Ritzville (12-9) 58-47 at SFCC. Myles Borth tallied a game-high 15 points and Matt Saetre added 14 to lead Lind-Ritzville.
