On Iran: Bush said he could say “with certainty” that Iran is supplying deadly weapons to fighters in Iraq. He is convinced the orders came from the highest levels in Tehran.

On congressional resolution on Iraq: Bush spoke as the House of Representatives debated a measure opposing his decision to send some 21,500 additional troops to Iraq. “They have every right to express their opposition,” he said of the House members.

On CIA leak trial: Bush dodged questions about the perjury trial of former White House aide Lewis “Scooter” Libby.
