NEW FACES Pac/West Communications has hired Stefany Bales as vice president in charge of the company’s new regional office in Coeur d’Alene. She previously worked as the regional director for Idaho Senator Mike Crapo and as vice president of communication for the Intermountain Forest Association.

Lindsay Ray has been hired as a project engineer at the Taylor Engineering Spokane office.

Catherine Hays has been hired as assistant controller at Triumph Composite Systems. She previously worked as an accounting manager at Inland Imaging Business Associates in Spokane.

The Inland Northwest Blood Center has hired Sherill Richards as the director of quality assurance. She previously worked as the quality assurance director for Cascade Regional Blood Services in Tacoma.

Brandi DeSaveur has been hired as a physician’s assistant at Northwest Orthopedic Specialists. She holds a degree from the MEDEX Northwest physician assistant program at the University of Washington School of Medicine.

J. Ryan Saunders has been hired as a physician’s assistant at Rockwood Clinic. He attended the MEDEX Northwest physician assistant program at the University of Washington School of Medicine.

PROMOTIONS Debbie Arbuckle has been promoted to vice president at Sterling Savings Bank. Molly Harley has been promoted to vice president, financial consultant at D.A. Davidson and Co. She has been with the company since 1995.

Ryan Beaudoin has been promoted to principal at Witherspoon, Kelly, Davenport and Toole. He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming and Gonzaga University School of Law. He specializes in real estate and land use, medical negligence and commercial litigation.

William Buckholdt has been promoted to partner at Paine, Hamblen, Coffin, Brooke and Miller. He holds degrees from Northwest Nazarene College and Gonzaga University School of Law. He joined the company in 2000. He specializes in tax implication of business transactions and estate planning.

APPOINTED John Driscoll, executive director of Project Access, has been named to the State School for the Blind board of trustees by Gov. Chris Gregoire. He will serve until 2011.

ELECTED John Madri, former CEO of Global Credit Union in Spokane, has been re-elected to the Montana-based Davidson Trust Co. board of directors. He will serve a three-year term.

The Spokane Homebuilders Association recently elected several new people to its board of directors. They are: president Larry Kloetsch, RSVP Construction; first vice president Brett Sullivan, Sullivan Homes; secretary Diane Gwynn, Countrywide Home Loans; treasurer Bruce Georgen, Georgen Homes; builder directors Travis Paske of Big Horn Electric/Pakiba Development and Robert Henry of R&D Construction; appointed builder director Ron Craig, Fairway Construction; associate director Jim Dashiell of Tomlinson Black North; appointed associate directors Dave Heskett, Evergreen Wholesale Lumber; remodelors council director Adam Holmes, Creekside Construction and Restoration; and membership committee director Scott Keno, Benefit Services Northwest.

KUDOS Carl Guenzel of Kiemle and Hagood Co. was recently awarded the Spokane Association of Realtors 2006 First Place Commercial Realtor Excellence award. He has been with the company since 1996 and specializes in retail development and leasing.

Clearwater Summit Group of Spokane was recently awarded a merit award for the residential construction over $30,000 category for Idaho Builders at Blackrock by the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals.
