Billy represents one of the hundreds of stray animals that found refuge through the efforts of the Coeur d’Alene Animal Shelter before its doors closed this month. May he remind us of the dedicated workers who step in to care for the unwanted and neglected creatures in our area. Billy and every other animal at the shelter have found a new place to call home. Why not pay tribute to the shelter workers by adopting a pet from a local shelter or rescue group? Visit www.petfinder.com for a list of available animals.
