EWU sophomore Rodney Stuckey and Montana junior Andrew Strait both surpassed 1,000 career points last weekend. Stuckey scored his 1,000th career point Thursday in his 43rd career game. Strait scored his 1,000th point Saturday in a loss to Eastern Washington. Strait has scored 1,013 points in 76 games. He is the 22nd player in UM history to amass 1,000 career points. NAU’s Ruben Boykin Jr., is the Big Sky’s active career scoring leader with 1,086 points. … Portland State center Anthony Washington has rejoined the team after leaving last fall to spend time with his newborn baby. … Sacramento State announced that guard Clark Woods will redshirt this season because of a knee injury. Woods averaged 7.3 points per game last season. … Portland State has 10 wins this season, two shy of last season. The Vikings are 7-0 when outrebounding opponents.
